HARRISONBURG, Virginia - Jordan Ramsey delivered six inning of one-run baseball and Drew Farber knocked in three runs as UNCW topped James Madison, 9-1, in Colonial Athletic Association baseball action on Saturday at Veterans Memorial Park.

Ramsey (2-2) scattered 10 hits and walked two while striking out five. The Seahawk bullpen of Kelly Secrest, Justin Livengood and Jack Lane allowed just one base runner in the final three innings.

Luke Drayer (2-1) was the tough-luck loser for JMU, allowing two runs, one earned, on just two hits and three walks in 5 and 1/3 innings.

LaGrange lined a two-run single and Farber plated two with a single off the first base bag into right field.

Early Turning Point: JMU loaded the bases in the first and looked to take an early lead, but Chad Carroll's single through the right side hit Tenaglia to kill the play and put runners back on second and third. Ramsey then rolled an inning-ending ground ball double play to end the threat.
