WILMINGTON, North Carolina - The UNCW women's golf team travels to the Sunshine State for the second time in four weeks as it heads to Jacksonville, Fla., to take part in the JMU Eagle Landing Invitational at the Eagle Landing Golf Club.

The 54-hole five-count-four event will take place March 8-10 on the par 72, 6,300-yard layout of the Eagle Landing Golf Club, which has hosted the tournament in all five years of its existence. The 17 teams will play 18 holes each day with action slated to get underway at 8 a.m.

The Seahawks will be joined in the field by host James Madison and fellow Colonial Athletic Association member Old Dominion as well as state foes Campbell, East Carolina, Elon and Western Carolina as well as former conference rival Georgia State. Rounding out the tournament lineup are Chattanooga, East Tennessee State, Jacksonville, Kennesaw State, Mississippi State, Morehead State, North Florida, Samford and Stetson.

Veteran Head Coach Cindy Ho's lineup will once again be led by junior Lori Beth Adams, who earned her third CAA Women's Golfer-of-the-Week award last Wednesday after opening the spring with a tie for 18th in the FSU Match-Up with a 54-hole total of 225 (79-72-74).

Adams, who has finished in the top 20 in all five events played this season, leads the team with a 74.30 stroke average. She will be joined in the lineup by senior Danielle Lamy (83.85), fellow juniors Megan Burnham (84.66) and Jeanne Metivier (79.00) and sophomore Mattie Tobey (78.33).

After its appearance in the JMU Eagle Landing Invitational, UNCW will continue its spring schedule March 22-24 in the LSU Tiger Classic at The University Club in Baton Rouge, La.
