LONG BEACH, California - Junior Payne McLeod carded identical scores of three-over par 73 in the opening two rounds to enter Tuesday's final round in a tie for 24th overall at the Del Walker Intercollegiate Classic at the Virginia Country Club.

Pacific (280-276=556) leads the nine-team field by eight strokes over second-place Long Beach State (284-280=564) and Loyola Marymount (281-283=564.

"This wasn't the start we hoped for, but we're eager to get after it again on Tuesday after learning what we can and can't do today," said UNCW Head Coach Matt Clark.

Junior Josh Woodfox (72-76=148), competing as an individual, is tied for 30th overall.
