Meena Reid, who will run in the 60m this weekend, has broken a pair of school records during the indoor season.

WILMINGTON, North Carolina - UNCW continues its indoor season this weekend at the Tiger Paw Invitational following a strong showing last Saturday at the Sykes Sabock Challenge Cup.

The Seahawks saw four records fall during the Cup meet, including a record in the men's 800 meters as Ryan O'Connor set a school standard with a time of 1:49.66, becoming the first Seahawks to break the 1:50.00 mark. That time also ranks the sophomore 18th nationally entering the weekend.

Junior Meena Reid also set a record in the 200 meters with a time of 24.35 seconds. It was her second record of the indoor season after opening the season breaking her own record in the 60 meters at the Patriot Games.

Also setting records for UNCW were senior Johnique Fonville in the Triple Jump (11.85m) and freshman Tommy Schotzinger who broke the Seahawks rookie record in the 600 meters with a time of 1:21.25.

The Seahawks conclude their indoor season at the Virginia Tech Invitational (Feb.15-16).
