WILMINGTON, North
Carolina - The Aquahawks will complete their home schedule this Saturday
when the women host regional rival Campbell at the Seahawk Natatorium. The meet
is slated for an 11 a.m. start.
The Seahawks own a 6-0 lead in the all-time series against
the Camels, who started their program in 2004-05. All six meets have been held
at the Natatorium.
As the season winds down, several Seahawks have maintained
their top-three standings on the CAA top times report. Senior Carly Tanner
leads the conference with top times in the 50 and 100 Freestyles and is third
in the 100 Breaststroke. Sophomore Hannah Stephenson, meanwhile, has the second
best time in the 100 Backstroke this season.
UNCW has a strong presence in the relays too, ranking first
in the 400 Medley Relays and third in the 200 Medley.
With the conference championships later this month, UNCW
will close out the regular season next weekend at the Virginia Tech
Invitational.
