Colin Bonner, Forward, Fresh./Fulton, Md./Reservoir
-Notched two
goals on the week, including the game tying strike against visiting Georgia
State. Bonner also scored UNCW's lone marker in a 2-1 loss at Northeastern. He
leads the Seahawks with five goals and 12 points this season.
Notes
The Seahawks
split a pair of games last week, topping Georgia State, 2-1, before bowing on
the road at Northeastern, 2-1 ... Against GSU, the Seahawks scored twice in a
92-second span in the second half to erase a 1-0 deficit ... Sophomore Jacob VanCompernolle scored the game-winner against GSU, it was his third goal of the
season surpassing his career-high of two set as a freshman in 2011 ... The
Seahawks host Towson on Oct. 27 in the regular season home finale before
visiting Delaware the following week in the regular season finale ... A pair of
wins would give the Seahawks a CAA tournament berth as long as William & Mary drops at least one of its last three contests ... UNCW is seventh in the
standings, but Old Dominion, who is fifth, is ineligible for the conference
tournament.

Saturday, Towson (4-9-1, 2-5-1 CAA) - The Tigers visit co-conference
leader Northeastern on Wednesday and will close out the season on Saturday
against the Seahawks ... The Tigers are two points behind the Seahawks for the
final CAA tournament berth ... Offensively the Tigers have generated just 13 goals
in 14 games ... Olakunle Banjo leads TU
with 10 points and is tied for the team-lead with three goals ... Enrico Skrypzak
also has three goals ... In goal, Felix Petermann has made 60 saves while posting
a 1.60 GAA ... Petermann has played every minute of the season ... The Seahawks
lead the all-time series 6-3-1.
