NORFOLK, Virginia - Needing to capture two of the three scoring places in the 400 meter Freestyle relay, UNCW's men's team took first and third to edge Old Dominion, 177-176, in Colonial Athletic Association swimming and diving action on Saturday. The Seahawk women dropped a pair of dual meets to Richmond and host Monarchs.

In that final relay of the meet, the squad of sophomore Nick Lowe, junior Gabe Thran, sophomore Alex Labonge and senior Michael Williams set a pool record with a time of 3:04.52 to win the race.

UNCW also won the 200 Medley Relay earlier in the day when Halonen, sophomore C.J. Fiala, Conrad and Gallene combined to set a pool record with a mark of 1:32.04.
