(This is the fifth in a series of capsules highlighting the successful 2011-12 sports season at UNCW)

   Women's hoops continued to make a move to the top of the CAA in 2011-12 when the Seahawks registered their second consecutive 20-win season, including another appearance in the Postseason WNIT. The Seahawks went 20-13 overall and 13-8 in the CAA, advancing to the semifinals of the CAA Tournament for the second straight year.
