UNCW enters Wednesday's match looking to halt a four-game
winless streak following a 1-1 draw with Northeastern. The Rams, who are tied
for the sixth and final CAA tournament spot, hope to rebound from a 1-0 setback
to visiting William & Mary.
The Seahawks have netted 14 goals in 13 outings this season.
Five different players have notched two goals, while seven have at least one
marker to their credit. Freshman Jack Ward became the most recent two goal
scorer when he gave UNCW a 1-0 lead against Northeastern.
Jason Johnson has been the Rams top scorer with 15 points on
seven goals and an assist. Right behind him is Yoram Mwila with 11 points on
five goals and a helper. In goal, Josh Pantazelos has been outstanding, posting
a 1.05 goals against average while playing all 1280 minutes.
UNCW heads to Towson this weekend for a 1 p.m. kickoff on
Saturday.
