WILMINGTON, N.C. -
Senior Devon Watlington topped UNCW three finishers on Thursday at the NCAA
East Track & Field regional with a 31st-place showing in the 400 Hurdles at
the Irwin Belk Track on the campus of North Carolina A&T.
Watlington, the reigning 110 and 400 Meter Hurdle champion
in the Colonial Athletic Association, clocked in at 52.64 seconds.
Senior Kathleen Casto placed 32nd in the 10,000 meters
(36:47.03) and fellow senior Aaron Wiggins also finished 32nd in the Pole Vault
with a height of 16-2 3/4.
The Seahawks continue their appearance at the regional on
Friday with Watlington competing in the 110 Hurdles and junior Justin Prevette
running the 200 meters.
