WEST LAFAYETTE, IND. -
UNCW'S Caitlin Kirtseier closed out her collegiate career with a 45th-place
finish in the 100 Freestyle at the NCAA Championships at the Purdue Aquatic
Center on Saturday.
Kirsteier fashioned a time of 49.98 and finished .03 second
behind Florida's Sarah Bateman.
During her run at the NCAA Championships, Kirsteier competed
in the 50 and 100 Freestyle and the 100 Butterfly.
UNCW's second swimmer to qualify for the NCAA Championships
is senior Rob Anderson, who will visit Columbus, Ohio, starting on March 25,
for the Men's Championships.
