WILMINGTON, N.C. - UNCW senior standout Caitlin Kirsteier finished 32nd overall in the preliminary round of the 100 Butterfly on Friday in the NCAA Women's Swimming Championship at the Purdue Aquatic Center.

Kirsteier posted a time of 53.81 seconds in the race and will conclude her championship action on Saturday when she competes in the 100 Freestyle.
