WILMINGTON, N.C. - The second show of the new season of "UNCW Sports Extra," UNC Wilmington's fast-paced television show that features a unique behind-the-scenes look at Seahawk athletics, airs tonight at 7 p.m. on Time Warner Cable, Channel 5.

      In conjunction with UNCW Media Productions, the 30-minute show airs each Monday, Thursday and Friday. The second show includes feature stories on Coach Matt Clark's golf team, a "Keeping Friendship Alive" presentation by Erica Upshaw, a sick boy mentored by the men's soccer team and senior cross country standout Kathleen Casto.

      UNCW students Samantha Mifsud and Lucas Haskins serve as anchors for the program, while Meghan Bryan, Matt Harris, Derrick Lewis and Faiza El-Hibri provide reports from the field.

      The show also airs on UNCW-TV Channel 77 and is featured on UNCWSports.com. In addition, selected segments are placed on YouTube and Facebook.
