WILMINGTON, N.C. - Single game tickets for UNC Wilmington men's basketball games are on sale to the general public now, but may only be purchased 10 days prior to each game.

Tickets are available at the Athletic Ticket Office inside Trask Coliseum, beginning 9 a.m. daily. Fans may also call 962-3233 to buy tickets or acquire more information.

The George Mason (Dec. 5), Wake Forest (Dec. 16) and Old Dominion (Jan. 13) contests have been designated as premium games.

Adult prices for regular games are $18 in non-priority areas and $25 for priority areas. For premium games, adult tickets are $25 in non-priority areas and $30 in priority areas. Youth tickets are $9 in non-priority and $12 in the priority areas for regular and premium games.

Priority areas are located in the north (sections 2-6) and south balconies (sections 16-20) and in the south and east bleachers of Trask Coliseum. Non-priority areas are all other locations.

Wake Forest is expected to challenge for the Atlantic Coast Conference championship again this season after returning nine lettermen, including three starters that helped the team finish 24-7 overall and tied for second in the ACC at 11-5. It's the first appearance for an ACC opponent in Wilmington since the Demon Deacons trimmed the Seahawks, 72-61, at Trask Coliseum on Jan. 2, 1989.

Old Dominion, which has advanced to post-season play five consecutive seasons, was tabbed as the preseason favorite in the Colonial Athletic Association during the league's Media Day proceedings last week in Washington. The Monarchs return all five starters from last year's club that won 25 games.

George Mason and veteran coach Jim Larranaga should be in the CAA mix again after going to the post-season for the seventh time in the last 11 years in 2008-09. The Patriots and Seahawks have forged one of the fiercest rivalries in the CAA.
